As an artist I react to my surroundings. Whether that be my home surroundings, my town landscapes, or surroundings in unfamiliar places. I always have a sketchbook and watercolors on hand. This is the way I inhabit my world.

As an Art educator, it has been my greatest joy to walk students through the process of developing skills so they can in turn respond to the world they inhabit.
